Inventory Autopilot ("we", "us", or "our") operates as a Shopify application that helps merchants identify and recover value from slow-moving inventory. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

When you install and use Inventory Autopilot, we access and store the following data from your Shopify store:

• Store information: Shop domain, store name, email address, and plan details.
• Product data: Product titles, variants, prices, inventory quantities, and sales history.
• Order data: Order line items and dates (used to calculate days since last sale).

We do not collect personal information about your customers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data exclusively to:

• Identify dead stock and slow-moving inventory in your store.
• Generate discount recommendations and recovery projections.
• Send optional weekly digest emails to you (the merchant).
• Display analytics and insights within the app dashboard.
• Improve the accuracy of our detection algorithms.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers hosted by Railway (railway.app) with PostgreSQL database encryption at rest. We use HTTPS for all data transmission. Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. The only external service that may process your data is our AI provider (Anthropic) for generating inventory insights — this data is sent without any customer personal information and is not retained by the AI provider.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as the app is installed on your store. When you uninstall the app, we will delete your store data within 30 days of receiving the uninstall webhook from Shopify, in accordance with Shopify's API terms.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about your store.
• Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Erasure: Request deletion of your data.
• Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.

7. Cookies

Inventory Autopilot does not use cookies on your storefront. Within the Shopify admin, we rely on Shopify's session management for authentication.
